Top management ensures responsibilities and authorities for relevant roles are assigned, communicated and understood. Authority is assigned for ensuring the QMS conformity, that processes deliver the intended outputs, that performance of the QMS is reported, customer focus is promoted and that changes to the QMS are carefully planned and implemented. The QMS Representative is ultimately responsible for all oversight and implementation of the QMS.
